Prof. Dr. Ralf J. Kohal

Prof. Dr. Ralf J. Kohal, DDS, Dr Med Dent Habil, born in 1961, studied dentistry in Freiburg, Germany, where he received his Dr. med. Dent. in 1991.

He was Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Texas in Houston from 1993 to 1995, where he still holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor. Since 1995, he has been in the department of prosthodontics at the University of Freiburg, where he wrote his habilitation thesis in 2002. In 2005, he was appointed Professor Extraordinary of the University of Freiburg.

He is a licensed specialist in prosthodontics and certified lecturer in implantology.
